Jade Buddha Temple

A must-visit checklist item in Shanghai for those who love visiting temples, the Jade Buddha Temple is a serene and peaceful place. Inside the temple, the atmosphere is tranquil, with various buildings divided into zones across different levels. At the very back of the temple on the left-hand side, there is a vegetarian dining hall.

The Jade Buddha housed here is made from authentic Burmese jade. Interestingly, there is another jade Buddha located at the far back of the temple complex, in the wide courtyard of the building on the far right side. Visitors can also pay their respects to this Buddha.

Additionally, the temple features a statue of Brahma. The temple conducts prayer and merit-making sessions at scheduled times, allowing visitors to participate in merit-making activities.
