Solid Stay Near the Yu Garden and More

#chinatravel I spent three nights at the Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel and it worked out really well for my trip. The location is super convenient if you want to explore the old town area. Yu Garden is just steps away and the metro station is right across the street which made getting around easy.

The room was clean and had a good amount of space. The bed was comfortable and I slept well every night. The bathroom was modern and the rain shower had great water pressure. WiFi worked fine throughout my stay.

Staff were helpful and check in was smooth. They were able to answer my questions and help with directions which I appreciated.

The rooftop bar had an awesome view of the skyline and was a nice spot to relax in the evening. I didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment there.

Overall this hotel gave me everything I needed for a short city trip. I’d be happy to stay again.
