Categories: #TravelItinerary #Ritz-CarltonShanghai #OverseasTravel #ShanghaiDisneyland #ShanghaiTravelItinerary #Watertown #WuzhenWatertown #WuzhenBooks
⸻
📍 Day 1 (Thursday Evening, Arrival in Shanghai)
• Arrive at Shanghai Pudong Airport on an evening flight and check into your hotel.
• If it's late, grab a snack at a convenience store near your hotel and take a stroll around the night view to soak up the atmosphere.
• You can take a bus from the airport to the city center for 4,500 won.
Tip:
• Don't be fooled by taxi drivers. Take the airport bus for about 50 minutes and you'll arrive at People's Square for a cheaper price!
If you're in a group, a taxi is a good option.
⸻
📍 Day 2 (Friday, Shanghai Disneyland)
• Arrive at Shanghai Disneyland early in the morning → Get your admission ticket from the official app + if you've been to Disneyland before, skipping the open run is fine.
• Popular attractions (Tron Lightcycle, Zootopia) require waiting! Tron requires an evening DPA.
Zootopia has a morning line, but it's shorter and less crowded in the afternoon. The night view is truly beautiful, so I highly recommend it!
For Zootopia, I recommend early entry to see the decorations when there aren't many people, and then riding the single-rider ride again in the evening!
• Grab a quick lunch at a theme restaurant in the park.
• Dinner: Lamb skewers at a great restaurant (Hunjiuyi Chien) → If you're waiting, schedule a wait on WeChat around the time of the Disneyland fireworks display.
Tips:
• Reserve your seats in advance for the character parade!
• For app payments, register your Korean card or connect it to Alipay in advance.
⸻
📍 Day 3 (Saturday · Starbucks Roastery + Wuzhen Water Village)
• Breakfast: Shanghai Starbucks Reserve Roastery →
• Morning Travel: Shanghai South Station → Wuzhen (approximately 1.5 hours by train) (Transfer by Didi taxi within Wuzhen)
• Upon Arrival: Hanfu Experience + Stroll through the quaint water village
• Dinner: Admire the nighttime water village canals and enjoy dinner at a recommended local restaurant
Tips:
• For your stay in Wuzhen, book a ryokan-style hotel with a river view to enjoy the breathtaking morning scenery.
• For the Hanfu experience, book at a shop with many Korean reviews to ensure the quality of the costumes and photos.
⸻
📍 Day 4 (Sunday · Wuzhen → Return to Shanghai & Departure)
• Morning: Leisurely stroll in Wuzhen + local breakfast
• Before Lunch: Return to Shanghai → Enjoy a light meal of fried radish (xiaolongbao, noodle shop, etc.)
• Afternoon:
Walk around Tianzifeng (Tianjifeng) alleyways & souvenir shopping
• Haidilao (Walk-in available at First Department Store)
• Egg tarts at Lilian Bakery in the basement of First Department Store (a must-try snack for Koreans)
• Oriental Pearl Tower → Highly recommended for its Shanghai landmark views and Flair T-Carlton rooftop cocktail bar
• Dinner: Transfer to the airport and return home
Tips:
• Haidilao has a long wait, but the service is excellent. Enjoy nail services and snacks while you wait.
• Before returning home, we recommend shopping for local snacks at 7-Eleven/convenience stores (Koreans prefer milk tea and snacks).
⸻
✅ Overall Review & Recommendation
• College Students/Young Professionals: Highly recommended for a short vacation + packed itinerary
• Highlights: One day at Disney, one day exploring the vibrant water town, one day exploring Shanghai's famous attractions → Great balance
