Yuyuan Garden is located in Huangpu District, Shanghai, China, and is a Ming Dynasty classical garden with a history of over 400 years. It was originally built during the Jiajing and Wanli periods by Pan Yunduan, the governor of Sichuan, as a private garden for his father, Pan En. The garden features a meticulously designed layout with pavilions, towers, rockeries, and water features arranged harmoniously, showcasing the elegant style of Jiangnan gardens. Notable attractions include the "Jade Exquisite Rock," one of the three famous rocks of Jiangnan, and the "Dianchun Hall," which once served as the command center for the Small Swords Society uprising. These landmarks hold both artistic and historical significance.
