A Night Illuminated by Light: Encountering the Face of Shanghai at The Bund

Shanghai's night comes alive at The Bund. Walking along the Huangpu River, it feels as if the entire city breathes light, with the Oriental Pearl Tower's glow across the river shining exceptionally bright. During the day, the classical architectural beauty catches the eye, but at night, all the buildings transform into a dazzling spectacle, as if they come to life.

Leaning against the riverside railing with a gentle breeze blowing, the night view felt more intimate than any observation deck. When a cruise ship slowly passed by and the light reflected on the rippling water, the beauty was so surreal it felt like a dream. Even the city's noise blended into the background, and the lights before my eyes conveyed the vibrant energy of Shanghai.

The vivid atmosphere that no photo can capture, and me, standing still in the midst of it. At the moment when the Oriental Pearl Tower sparkled, a wave of emotion hit me—'Ah, I am truly in Shanghai.'
