【Shanghai 3 Days 2 Nights Photography Roaming Guide】
As a travel and photography enthusiast blogger, I have customized a high-quality, highly photogenic light luxury trip to Shanghai for you—within a budget of 5000 RMB, weaving through the modern metropolis and vintage alleys to capture your own "cinematic Shanghai."
Day 1: Classic Night at The Bund · Lujiazui Skyline
Arrive at Hongqiao or Pudong Airport, then take a private car to a design hotel near The Bund (recommended Bund One Art Hotel or Kempinski, about 2800 RMB for two nights including breakfast). In the evening, stroll along Waibaidu Bridge to shoot the sunset glow on the Customs House clock tower. At night, walk along the Bund’s international architecture cluster, with the dazzling lights of the Lujiazui trio across the river. Use long exposure to capture the flowing lights of the Huangpu River. Dinner at M on the Bund terrace with Western cuisine, about 400 RMB per person, enjoying the view while dining.
Day 2: Wukang Road Literary Tour + Beiwaitan Sunset Aerial Photography
At 7 AM, head to Wukang Mansion to avoid crowds and shoot the inverted triangle composition. Cycle along Wukang Road—Anfu Road—Wuyuan Road, checking out old villas, niche boutiques, and cafes, perfect for film-style street photography. In the afternoon, visit Shangsheng Xinsuo and Sinan Mansions, featuring red brick pools and French terraces, offering endless great spots for travel photography. At dusk, board the Beiwaitan cruise (198 RMB/person) for aerial shots of the Bund panorama, with stunning light and shadow at sunset!
Day 3: M50 Creative Park + Yuyuan Old Town
In the morning, explore M50 Creative Park, where industrial-style graffiti walls and art galleries make every shot avant-garde. Next door, the Tian’an Qianshu stepped forest architecture is also worth a visit. For lunch, enjoy authentic local cuisine at Lvbolang (about 150 RMB per person). In the afternoon, stroll through Yuyuan Garden and Chenghuang Temple, capturing flying eaves, upturned corners, and the Nine-turn Bridge snow scene (winter exclusive), and bring a box of pear syrup candy as a souvenir.
✅ Budget Breakdown:
Accommodation 2800 + Transportation 300 + Meals 800 + Tickets & Experiences 1000 = About 4900 RMB
🌆 Shanghai is neon and plane trees, the future and old dreams. Bring your camera to this city that never sleeps and write your own urban narrative poem.
