Walk into the historical and cultural Waibaidu Bridge

Waibaidu Bridge, located in Shanghai near the Bund, is China's first all-steel riveted bridge and the only remaining unequal-height truss bridge. It's also the fourth bridge built near the Suzhou Creek estuary since 1856.

The all-steel bridge, 106.7 meters long with two 52.16-meter spans, serves as a vital thoroughfare connecting Huangpu and Hongkou districts in downtown Shanghai, with separate lanes for pedestrians and vehicles. During the day, the bridge offers stunning views of both sides of the Suzhou Creek. Strolling along, you'll admire the traditional alleyways on one side and the modern buildings on the other, immersing yourself in the interplay of time and space in Shanghai.
