Shanghai Auto Museum is China's first professional automobile museum, located in the Auto Expo Park in Anting, Jiading District, Shanghai.

Basic Information

• Opening Hours: Tuesday to Sunday 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM (ticket sales stop at 4:00 PM), closed on Mondays except public holidays.

• Ticket Price: Adult tickets are 60 RMB per person. Children under 1.3 meters or under 6 years old with valid ID are free, must be accompanied by an adult.

• Address: No. 7565 Boyuan Road, Anting, Shanghai.

• Transportation: Take Metro Line 11 to Anting Station, or the Lu'an Express Line to Boyuan Road Station, then a 5-minute walk.

Venue Composition

• History Hall: Located on the first floor, it follows the development of automobile history over a century, featuring 8 themed exhibition halls including the Preface Hall and Exploration and Birth. It showcases the global development of automobiles through more than 20 classic representative vehicles and important events.

• Collection Hall: Located on the second floor, with nearly 2,000 square meters of exhibition space, divided into seven major sections such as "Boiling Era" and "Golden Years." Exhibits include nearly 40 precious antique cars from the past century, such as the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL.

• Exploration Hall: Located on the third floor, with about 2,000 square meters of exhibition space, divided into three functional areas: basic automobile knowledge, automobile design and manufacturing, and amusement experience. It features more than 10 physical and mechanical demonstration exhibits and over 20 multimedia interactive exhibits, such as the Automobile Imagination themed exhibit and the CARRARA simulated high-speed racing track.
