On this trip from Hangzhou to Suzhou and then Nanjing, the place I'll never forget is Xing Yuan Yuan in Shanghai. Their braised pork was absolutely amazing! The chunks were generous yet not greasy. Paired with a bowl of white rice, it instantly gave me the simplest feeling of happiness. 🍚😍
Not only the braised pork, but every dish was generously portioned. I especially recommend the crab meatballs; the broth is so sweet and savory it makes you want to fly! The entire dining experience was a pure joy. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Shanghai!
