Don’t forget to look Up on East Nanjing

A stones throw away from the Bund, It’s easy to focus on all of the designer and upmarket stores when visiting East Nanjing, the shopping street of Shanghai (although if you want to go shopping without the crowd I suggest South Shaanxi Road).

What I found of my visit today however was a slice of old Shanghai. When you look up, you can discover what the street would have looked like in its heyday.
