Wangxian Valley, the Valley of the Immortals

Wangxian Valley is a village nestled in the mountains, about a 3-hour train ride from Shanghai, followed by a taxi ride. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and you can take long walks. There are food vendors available. If you visit on weekends, it tends to be quite crowded. The night view is spectacular. Arriving in the afternoon is ideal, as you can explore the entire area within a day. The food prices are reasonable for a tourist spot. If you have time, I highly recommend visiting.
