Taiziya, also known as Prince Rock, is located within the Shennongding Scenic Area in Shennongjia. The word "ya" (鞭) means boundary, and the name comes from the Three Provinces Terrace, where, on a clear day, one can see Hubei, Shaanxi, and Sichuan provinces. Taiziya, at an altitude of 2,600 meters, is located within the subalpine dark coniferous forest zone. Strolling along the trail through the forest, you'll find towering firs, lush arrow bamboo, fragrant azaleas, and vibrant crabapple trees. Birds chirp, and various wild animals occasionally roam the landscape.
