#Zhongshan Attractions: Chenzhou Oysters are renowned nationwide for their plump, round oysters, white bellies, black ears, and sweet, flaky texture. They're known as the "crown jewel of oysters." Their high nutritional value earns them the nickname "undersea milk." Villagers here have been cultivating oysters for centuries, and there's even a custom of using oysters in worship. My husband and I ordered a set meal for four. All-you-can-eat! The oysters were delicious, and the oysters were incredibly plump and fresh. They're said to be at their peak in December.
Chenzhou Oyster Village Tourist Area, a 3A-rated scenic spot, offers not only oysters but also a Countryside Walk, fishing, egret watching, and sunset viewing, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and experience the charm of the oyster village!
Directions: Chenzhou Oyster Village Tourist Area
Driving is recommended. The area is approximately 17 kilometers from the city center, a half-hour drive away. Parking is readily available.
Visiting Time: The scenic area is relatively large, so we recommend arriving at 3:00 PM to spend about three hours enjoying the sunset.
