Depart from Shantou 🚗 About 2.5 hours to Shanwei.
Checked in directly around 2:30pm.
While it's still hot, first stop: the super photogenic spiral staircase indoors 📷
Gotta praise the kid's photography skills - improving again and again!

After photos, played at the hotel kids' club before changing into swimsuits
Then headed to the infinity pool for swimming and water fun 🏊🏻
Remember both adults and kids need swim caps to enter!
When the sun gets milder, perfect time for beach play and tidepooling 🌊
No need to leave the hotel - just follow the path behind the rooms straight to the beach 🏖️ Super convenient!

Nearby Whale Bay Town has less crowded beaches with fine white sand. Perfect for kids with attractions like mini trains, carousels, and ferris wheel - also great for photos 🎡 Frequent evening fireworks, and kids can play with sparklers by the shore too.

🍽️Dining:
Many seafood restaurants and BBQ spots near Jinding Bay - can't vouch for quality/pricing so do your research online to avoid disappointments ❌ We drove to downtown for dinner at a Taiwanese restaurant - pepper chicken, garlic baked prawns (so fresh!) and fragrant braised pork rice - everything was delicious 😋 No regrets.

After dinner, check out Erma Road for local snacks and souvenir shopping 🛍️
