1First time to travel to Shaoxing
~Lu Xun's Hometown~
This time I looked up Shaoxing travel guides online, and they all mentioned a person - Lu Xun. Actually, I don’t know Lu Xun, and I still don’t understand who this person is? Later I learned that people in mainland China grew up reading his articles in textbooks.
For me, I seem to only know Zhu Ziqing, but it doesn’t matter, just watch it since I’m here! Therefore, I also became an ordinary tourist to appreciate the former residence of Lu Xun
⭐Lu Xun’s Hometown: Actually, this is not Lu Xun’s home, it should be said that this is the old house of his ancestors! The former residence is a Jiangnan building from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The main reception hall is called De Shou Tang. In the old house, old furniture is placed in each room in imitation of the ancient appearance, including the master bedroom, children's room, boudoir, embroidery room, kitchen, etc. The Chinese-style three-courtyard is antique and demonstrates the prominent status of the Zhou family in the late Qing Dynasty. Unfortunately, the family fell into poverty and life became difficult, but because of this, there was also such a thinker and writer.
⭐ Sanwei Book House is the private school where Lu Xun studied when he was a child. It also contains the place where Lu Xun studied.
⭐Black-sailed boats: In the small river beside the bookstore, you can see black-sailed boats, which are unique to Shaoxing! I heard from the tour guide that they were using their feet to skiff. Most of the people skiing were a little older, and they just couldn't find any young people to take over the skiff! The origin of the Wupeng boat is that the bamboo sail is painted black, so it is named so. The boat is narrow and can carry two passengers at most at a time. It is inconvenient to stand on the boat and it is easy to capsize.
