There are many little joys hidden in the popular ways to explore Keyan! Upon entering the park, follow the signs to the "Stone Buddha Scenic Spot." The platform in front of the Tiangong Buddha is perfect for photos; many people take pictures "with the Buddha in the frame." Just copy their angles, and casual shots turn out great. The nearby "Yungu" photo spot is less crowded—wait for the people ahead to finish, quickly stand on the stone steps, and have a friend shoot from below to capture the grandeur of the giant rock.
After touring Keyan, head straight to the dock to wait for the painted boat. No need to rush for seats; take turns sitting by the window on the boat. When passing the "Keyan Spectacular View" sign at Jian Lake, remember to snap the shimmering lake surface. The moment the wind blows your hair creates a great atmosphere. After disembarking at Luzhen, first check in at the Kong Yiji sculpture in front of the Xianheng Hotel. Many people imitate the sculpture’s pose for photos, and joining in is super fun.
Then stroll along the main street. You can try the yellow wine milk tea and fennel bean stalls by the roadside. If there’s a line, wait a bit—the flavors are authentic. If you see a crowd around the opera stage, join in; there’s sure to be a Yue opera performance. Applaud with everyone for an amazing atmosphere.
