Utoro is a small town with everything you need. However, its proximity to Shiretoko National Park might make you think it's barren for cafes, but that's far from the truth. Rather, there's a spacious cafe that combines an authentic Belgian chocolatier, gelateria, and café: Peter Bayer. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for a cafe inside a luxury hotel, and they even serve you right to your seat. The interior is incredibly cool and the seats are comfortable. The strawberry gelato is delicious, and the coffee is also excellent. If you're tired from exploring the wilds of Utoro and Shiretoko and craving a break from the city, this is a must-visit. Highly recommended!!!
