✨The Former Site of Heroes, also known as Laowei, is a place with a history of more than 600 years. It has typical Cantonese-style architecture and was built to commemorate the ancestor He Zhen, a famous Lingnan sage. It is located in Luohu District, Shenzhen. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Sungang Metro Station. It is very convenient.

🗿Long history/cultural relics protection
The outer wall of the south gate is made of red powder stone, and the stone plaque above the door is engraved with four large characters "Former Site of Founding Fathers". It is the only relatively complete Cantonese walled village building preserved in Shenzhen, carrying rich Cantonese culture and historical value.

🏠Architectural Features
The building plan of the former site of the founding hero is square, 68 meters wide from east to west and 63.5 meters deep from north to south, with watchtowers at the four corners. The towers are connected by a 5-meter-high and 2-meter-thick wall. There are 3 vertical alleys and 6 horizontal alleys inside the enclosure, with a total of 140 rooms and 3 wells. The outer wall of the south gate is made of red and pink stone, forming a unique architectural style.
