Starting from the Sea World Metro Station, this meticulously planned coastal boardwalk takes you all the way to Shenzhen Bay Park Metro Station. Surrounded by lush greenery and the azure sea, this route is a perfect escape for city dwellers seeking tranquility away from the hustle and bustle.
💞Why We Recommend It: This bike path spans approximately 17 kilometers, connecting several coastal parks and scenic spots along the way. The entire route is equipped with dedicated bike lanes, so you don’t need to check a map—just follow the clear signs and enjoy uninterrupted views of the sea and greenery.
I completed this journey at an extremely leisurely pace—stopping to take photos, resting under the shade of trees, quietly gazing at the sea—and it took me about 2 hours in total. This unhurried cycling style allowed me to truly experience the gentle side of Shenzhen as a coastal city.
Starting from Sea World, you’ll first pass through Nuwa Coastal Park, where the breakwater park features a striking white lighthouse that stands out beautifully against the blue sky and sea. Continuing onward, you’ll notice many people camping on the lawns facing the sea, sitting in camping chairs, chatting, and enjoying the view, creating a wonderfully relaxed scene.
🗓️Itinerary: The most convenient starting point is Sea World Station on Metro Line 2, and the endpoint can be Shenzhen Bay Park Station on Metro Line 9. Using a shared bike, you can easily return by metro after reaching the endpoint.
