This short trip to Shenzhen focused on Guangming District's new favorite spots—Hongqiao Park and Honghuashan Park! If you've previously found Guangming District inconvenient to access, the Hongqiao Park metro station is now open. Take the metro and you'll be right at the park entrance, making it easy to enjoy the popular and stunning natural scenery. In one day, you can soak up the Hongqiao vibe and enjoy a quiet after-dinner stroll through Honghuashan Park. The park's atmosphere under the lights at night is truly relaxing.
🌈 Recommended Attractions
1. Hongqiao Park in Guangming District
As soon as you exit Hongqiao metro station, you'll be immediately struck by the park's stunning design. Hongqiao Park embodies a fusion of modernity and nature, with a vibrantly colored bridge. On a clear day, the sunlight reflects off the park, creating a rainbow-like effect, perfect for photo opportunities and a popular Instagram post for local influencers. A walk around the park offers not only stunning views but also a relaxing place to chill. The park has numerous trails perfect for jogging and family outings, and is well-equipped with amenities. If you're not pressed for time, I recommend strolling along Chalin Road and exploring Guangming District's new community feel.
📍Address: Chalin Road, Guangming District, Shenzhen
⏰Opening Hours: 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM year-round (last admission at 9:00 PM)
2. Honghuashan Park
The night view at Honghuashan Park is truly stunning! It's perfect for a post-dinner stroll, perfect for couples or families. The park is large, with numerous gardens and lawns, and a lakeside reflection of the nightscape. Best of all, there are plenty of restaurants near Gongming Street, so it's so relaxing to walk straight there after dinner that you won't want to leave. The park is well-maintained, clean, and safe. Enjoy a leisurely stroll in the morning or admire the lanterns at night, each offering a unique atmosphere. 📍Address: 88 Zhenming Road, Gongming Subdistrict, Guangming District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province
⏰ Opening Hours: 5:30 AM - 9:30 PM year-round (last admission at 9:30 PM)
👣 Itinerary + Tips
This is my third trip to Guangming District, and I'm truly impressed by the convenience of the Hongqiao Park subway line! No need to change lines or walk long distances in the hot weather; you're right at the sights as soon as you arrive at the station. It's perfect for taking photos without the crowds; visit early in the morning or evening for less crowds. Honghuashan Park is recommended after dinner for a relaxing night view and a relaxing stroll, perfect for de-stressing.
