Shirahama Town Onsen Accommodation Guide

When visiting Shirahama Town, soaking in hot springs and watching the Pacific Ocean sunset are must-dos. This time, I chose the "Hamachidori no Yu Kaishu" hotel, which provided an incredibly relaxing experience for both body and mind. The hotel boasts stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, especially from its open-air hot springs. The mixed-gender baths allow you to soak while enjoying the ocean view, whether it's sunrise, sunset, or stargazing at night—truly a healing experience.

The hotel's location is super convenient. We drove to famous attractions like Senjojiki, Sandanbeki, and Shirarahama Beach, all of which are nearby. There are also plenty of restaurants in the area, making it easy to get around. After a day of exploring, returning to the hotel for a hot spring soak made us never want to leave.

The hotel features a traditional Japanese design. Guests are required to change into slippers upon entry and walk barefoot indoors to maintain cleanliness. The overall ambiance is very comfortable from the moment you step in. Some rooms even come with private hot springs that face the Pacific Ocean. Waking up in the morning to the vast ocean view is the ultimate vacation experience.

As for service, the staff are generally polite, and some front desk staff can speak Chinese, making communication very easy for us.
