If you want to see snow in spring, you can take the shuttle bus to the Shirakawa-go Observatory. Once you reach the top, you'll find both a paid observatory and a free observatory.

The paid observatory is marked as 'Shirakawa-go Observatory' on Google Maps. It offers a view from above, and its operating hours are from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

However, if you turn back and head down slightly, you'll find the free observatory. It offers the exact same stunning view as the paid one, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful scenery for free.
