Shodoshima Olive Garden, located on Shodoshima Island in Kagawa Prefecture, is known as the first place in Japan where olives were cultivated. It's a relaxing spot surrounded by greenery and the sea. 🌿🫒
Olive trees spread throughout the garden, and a refreshing breeze blows through the garden, along with breathtaking views of the Seto Inland Sea.
The day I visited was sunny, and the blue sky and the dazzling green olives made me feel like I was in the Mediterranean. ✨
The "Greek Windmill," which was also used as a filming location for the movie "Kiki's Delivery Service," is a hugely popular photo spot. 📸
Enjoy olives with all five senses, including olive soft serve ice cream and gourmet dishes made with olive oil!
Taking photos in front of the windmill with your partner is romantic, and solo travelers can also enjoy the soothing nature.
If you're looking for a refreshing and relaxing time during your trip to Kagawa, Shodoshima Olive Garden is a must-see!
