Shodoshima's Olive Park exudes a Mediterranean vibe, featuring expansive olive groves, herb gardens, and stunning views of the Seto Inland Sea. It's a healing and dreamy destination. Under the white Greek-style windmill, you can borrow a magical broomstick and take photos reminiscent of scenes from "Kiki's Delivery Service," making for a particularly joyful and carefree experience.
After leaving the park, I wandered into a nearby alley and unexpectedly discovered a small dessert shop with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The desserts here are not only visually stunning but also surprisingly delicious, made with fresh local ingredients. One standout is the olive-flavored ice cream, where every bite is filled with happiness, adding even more charm to the journey.
