【Singapore】The southernmost point of the Asian continent—Palawan Island

At Sentosa in Singapore, you can walk across a suspension bridge from Palawan Beach to the opposite Palawan Island. Once you get off the suspension bridge, you can see a sign that reads: "The Southern Most Point of Continental Asia", which means "the southernmost point of the Asian continent". There are also two four-story observation towers built on the island, and standing on the wooden observation towers, you can see the boundless sea, fully enjoying the refreshing sea breeze and the vast and spectacular seascape.

Geographically, this place is indeed located at the southernmost tip of the Malay Peninsula, which extends from the Asian continent. However, there is another opinion that the southernmost point of the continent should naturally refer to the land part, in which case the "southernmost point of the Asian continent" should be within the Tanjung Piai National Park in Pontian District, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, because there is the Johor Strait between Singapore and Malaysia (the artificial causeway built in 1923 connects Singapore and Malaysia), and Singapore itself is already an island.
