Spanning 26 hectares of lush greenery, this award-winning zoo offers a rare opportunity to observe animals in expansive, naturalistic habitats, making every visit a captivating experience.

With over 4,200 animals representing more than 300 species—many of which are endangered—the Singapore Zoo is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. We were enthralled by the sight of majestic elephants, a striking white tiger, towering giraffes, an elusive leopard, and energetic kangaroos. Other unforgettable encounters included a colossal tortoise, zebras roaming freely across open plains, and lions lounging in the afternoon sun.

To make exploring more convenient, the zoo provides a complimentary tram service, allowing visitors to navigate the vast grounds with ease while taking in the scenic surroundings. The tram stops at key exhibits, making it effortless to experience the zoo’s many attractions without missing a thing.

Getting there was simple—we took Bus 138 from Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange, though alternative routes from Yishun Interchange offer a shorter journey. Whether you're a wildlife enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply looking for a memorable day out, the Singapore Zoo never fails to impress.
