Singapore 1 day 1 night

This time going to Singapore, there was only one place I wanted to go to.
It couldn’t be anywhere else but Universal Studios✨

And I went with no expectations at all. Since I was super busy before the trip, I didn’t have time to research anything. I just researched on the spot about which rides were interesting.

Started with Transformers because I happened to walk by it 5555. It was so much fun! They gave 3D glasses for realism, and it was really exciting. I screamed at the top of my lungs. Then I went on Revenge of the Mummy, which was insanely fun*10. It was a wild ride that literally swung you around so much your head almost came off. Crazy! I came out feeling totally wrecked and rushed to get some smelling salts. The scenes inside were so beautiful and realistic.

After resting from the mummy ride until my dizziness went away, I went on Jurassic World. It started drizzling then, and the ride is on water. I saw others wearing raincoats while waiting in line, so I asked the staff at the entrance if we needed raincoats. The staff asked back if we were okay with getting wet because after the ride, you’d be about 80% soaked. My friend and I exchanged looks. The staff probably saw we were hesitant and said seriously, “It’s raining, you know.” So, okay, we bought the raincoats, which had Universal Studios Singapore printed on the back, for a light 6 SGD or over 150 baht. Crazy!

After the Jurassic World ride, I was only wet on my shoes. Where’s the 80% wet you mentioned, staff?

But then the real deal came because suddenly the rain poured heavily. We finally got to use the raincoats for real and rushed to find shelter. Hungry, tired, wet, and crowded — the situation was just unbearable. And we still had to find a halal restaurant.

We searched for a halal restaurant and finally found one in the food court in front of the Mummy ride. It was Indian food, tasty but very pricey. Actually, every place was pricey 5555.

After eating and finishing prayers, the rain stopped just in time. By then, I was really exhausted, but because I didn’t want it to be a waste, I went on some light rides like Minions, the Ferris wheel, and the carousel 5555.

Ended the day with the Puss in Boots Giant Coaster. It was fun, but I forgot to enjoy the view because I was too worried about dropping my phone 5555. After the ride, it was already evening. I initially wanted to watch fireworks, but when I asked the staff, they said it’s not every day. So I just decided to head back.

Overall, it was super fun, like awakening the inner child inside me again. If possible, I want to go again and try the roller coaster and the one where you hang your legs 🥹
