Review of a 4-day, 3-night trip to Singapore

☁️ Review of a 4-day, 3-night trip to Singapore: A small country full of wow! 🇸🇬✨

Hello~ Today I want to share my travel story in Singapore in a cute style as a first-timer. Honestly, before going, I didn’t expect much, just thought I’d see the Merlion, take photos with Marina Bay Sands, and then head back. But once I got there, Singapore made me fall in love without even realizing it!

📍 Day 1: Hello Singapore! Changi Airport is the best of the best

I took a morning flight and arrived at Changi Airport around late morning. The first thing to say is… Changi Airport is amazing! It’s clean, spacious, fragrant, and very high-tech. As soon as I arrived, I went to see The Jewel, the spectacular mall attached to the airport with a giant waterfall in the middle!

The waterfall is called Rain Vortex, the tallest indoor waterfall in the world. Next to it is the Shiseido Forest Valley garden where you can stroll around and take photos very chill. If you get tired, there are sofas to rest on. I must say, taking photos here feels like being in the movie Avatar 😂

After walking around, I took the MRT into the city to my accommodation in the Bugis area. It’s very convenient to get around, close to the MRT, and full of restaurants!

🌼 Day 2: Marina Bay + Gardens by the Bay + Spectra Show

Today was the most exciting day because we were going to visit the country’s landmarks! We started the day at Marina Bay Sands, taking photos with the legendary boat-shaped building and then walked to Merlion Park to meet the famous water-spouting lion!

The view here is amazing, with Marina Bay Sands right in front and boats passing below. The atmosphere is so chill, and every photo looks beautiful. After that, we walked to Gardens by the Bay, a huge garden behind Marina Bay Sands.

Inside, there’s the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. This is a must-see! The Flower Dome has flowers from all over the world arranged in different themes, and the Cloud Forest is a simulated mountain with a waterfall inside. Walking there is cool and refreshing 🌸🍃

In the evening, we waited to watch the Spectra Light & Water Show in front of Marina Bay Sands. It’s a beautiful light, color, and sound show that’s “free”! The riverside was packed with people watching. It felt like being in a city of the future ✨

🏙️ Day 3: Adventure at Universal Studios Singapore + Strolling in Clarke Quay

On the third day, we went to Sentosa Island to enter the fun world of Universal Studios Singapore (USS) 🎢. I must say this place is perfect for thrill-seekers. There are different zones to explore like Sci-Fi City, Far Far Away, Ancient Egypt, and Hollywood.

Our highlight was the Battlestar Galactica roller coaster, a dual coaster (I screamed a lot on the red side), and the Transformers 3D Ride, which was super fun, like being in the movie. I left with a huge smile 🥹💥

After having fun until tired, we strolled around Clarke Quay, a riverside area with cool restaurants and pubs. We relaxed, ordered food to eat by the river, enjoyed the great atmosphere with beautifully lit bridges and soft music playing 🍷🌉

🍜 Day 4: Eat, eat, eat, then fly back to Thailand

On the last day of the trip, we planned to eat a lot before heading back! We went to Maxwell Food Centre, home to the legendary Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice (truly delicious, as rumored) and fish ball noodles with clear but very fragrant broth.

Then we walked around Chinatown to buy souvenirs to take back to Thailand—magnets, tea, snacks—there were so many choices it was hard to decide, haha. Before leaving, we stopped to take photos at the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, which is beautiful and very sacred. It’s another quiet and warm corner of Singapore.

In the afternoon, we went back to the airport, relaxed at Jewel again, watched the waterfall once more, bought duty-free souvenirs, and boarded the plane back to Thailand with a full heart 🥹💖

🎀 Impressions I want to share
1. The city’s orderliness: The city is very clean with no trash. Everyone is disciplined, no loud noises on the MRT, and no one blocks the way.
2. Easy transportation: The MRT system is the best, easy to understand, in English, and trains come quickly without long waits.
3. Friendly people: Many times when I asked for directions, they walked me to the place or smiled even though we didn’t know each other.
4. Good food prices: Although Singapore has a high cost of living, eating at Hawker Centres is very affordable, starting at just 3-5 SGD.
5. Safety: Walking alone at night didn’t feel scary at all because the lights are bright and people are always around.

🧳 Rough expense summary (per person)
-Item Price (THB)
-Round-trip flight ticket: 4,500
-3 nights accommodation (shared room): 2,700
-MRT + EZ-Link: 700
-Universal Studios: 2,000
-Food + snacks: 2,000
-Souvenirs and miscellaneous: 1,000
Total approximately = 12,900 THB

💗 Small tips for those planning to go
• Carry an EZ-Link card or buy NETS at the MRT for convenience
• Prepare comfortable shoes because you’ll walk a lot
• Don’t forget to bring a portable water bottle as there are free refill stations around
• Try saying “Thank you” to locals; they’ll smile sweetly back

For anyone still hesitating about going to Singapore, I hope this review inspires you ☁️ This country is cuter than you think, convenient, safe, and has so many wow moments 💼✈️
