My Guide to Andaz Singapore: Bugis's Trendiest Hotel! 🌟🏨

📍 Location, Location, Location!
Andaz is right in the heart of Bugis, which means you are spoiled for choice when it comes to food downstairs! After days of exploring, my absolute favorites were "Hensley BBQ" (很乐山) for amazing skewers and 'Qiaojiao Beef Noodles', and "A Family" (一家人) for durian desserts that are simply out of this world! 🤤
Plus, Atlas Bar, that super famous spot (Jay Chou even visited!), is right downstairs. This is a huge win for someone like me who loves a good drink but hates queuing! 🍸
You're also just a 10-minute walk to Haji Lane and the Sultan Mosque, and about 15 minutes to Marina Bay Sands and Merlion Park. Seriously, getting to all the major sights is a breeze! 🚶♀️💨

✨ Style & Vibe:
I've seen Andaz hotels in China with a very refined "Nanyang" (Southeast Asian) style, but here in actual Southeast Asia, the vibe is a bit different – less "refined wealthy lady," more raw and authentic. It features large expanses of natural wood with touches of modern metal, all subtly dotted with greenery. I got a city-view corner room (check out P12!) with floor-to-ceiling windows looking right onto the colorful streets of Kampong Glam. If you snag a bay-view room, you'll get direct views of the Singapore Flyer and Marina Bay Sands! 🎡

🍳 Breakfast:
I only managed to wake up before 10:30 AM for breakfast once during my stay (oops! 😅), but I genuinely loved their spread! Especially the fruits – they had papaya and mangosteen! You could honestly just fill up on fruit alone, which is amazing for a Southeast Asian hotel breakfast. Definitely try their Laksa too; it's perfectly balanced and not too heavy! 🍜

🏊♀️ The Pool (My Favorite Part!):
This might just be my favorite part of the entire hotel! The infinity pool offers incredible views of the Singapore Flyer. In the afternoons, you'll see quite a few Westerners just chilling by the side, reading and sunbathing for hours. It gives off such a relaxed, getaway vibe right in the city center – honestly, it makes you envious! 😌

Overall: Andaz Singapore is a fantastic choice for its unbeatable location, unique style, great breakfast, and that incredible pool. Highly recommend!
