Singapore, a travel destination where the future city and tradition coexist

Singapore is a small city-state but full of sights and activities. The downtown area is clean and modern, yet infused with diverse cultures everywhere, making walking around enjoyable.

First, I went up to Marina Bay Sands to take in the cityscape at a glance. Next to it, Gardens by the Bay—with its Supertrees, Cloud Forest, and Flower Dome—felt like a futuristic city. In the evening, the light show at the Supertrees was spectacular.

During the day, I strolled through Chinatown, Little India, and Arab Street, experiencing Singapore’s vibrant culture. Visiting traditional temples, alley markets, and tasting foods from various countries was especially delightful.

On Sentosa Island, I enjoyed a leisurely and active time walking along the beach, riding the luge, and taking the cable car. Finally, I savored local cuisine while admiring the riverside night view at Clarke Quay.

Singapore is a place where nature and city, tradition and modernity perfectly harmonize. Even with a short itinerary, it was a rich and satisfying trip.
