Must-Try Free Fun Activities on Spectrum of the Seas! 🛳️

1️⃣ Deck Surfing 🏄♂️
An absolute must! The very first thing we did after boarding and having lunch was deck surfing. Make sure to bring your swimsuit with you — don’t check it in with your luggage! Go to the service desk below the surfing area to watch the safety video, get your wristband, and then line up. My husband and I each did it twice! Since most people didn’t have their swimsuits with them, there weren’t many in line, so we got to surf longer. The instructor gives step-by-step guidance — it’s super fun and exciting!

2️⃣ Indoor & Outdoor Pools 🏊♀️ + Hot Whirlpool 💦
Both the indoor and outdoor pools are cool water, so we chose to relax in the warm whirlpool instead — perfect if you’ve got kids! We brought our own float rings, but there are also baby life jackets available for borrowing nearby. After swimming, you can borrow towels with your room card (don’t forget to return them afterward!).

3️⃣ Outdoor Rock Climbing 🧗 (Deck 15, Ship’s Stern)
Socks required — climbing shoes are provided on-site. Once you’re secured with safety gear, you’re ready to go! Climbing up isn’t too hard, but jumping down? That’s the real challenge 😆 It doesn’t look high from below, but once you reach the top and look down… wow, it’s way higher than it seems! Totally thrilling!

4️⃣ Bumper Cars 🚗💥
This one’s quite popular! I went on the fourth afternoon while my kid was napping and waited about 30 minutes. Children over 5 can join. The venue is sometimes converted into a sports court, so check the schedule for bumper car hours.

5️⃣ Archery, Bean Bags & More 🎯
Deck 2 has tons of fun rotating mini activities — archery, bean bag toss, ping pong, and more. Personally, I found archery the most enjoyable!

6️⃣ Silk Road Show 🎭
This is the most popular performance on board! You can book it in advance via the website or make a reservation at the Music Hall after boarding. Be sure to arrive early for good seats!

Besides these must-do activities, there are plenty of other shows and events — magic, acrobatics, and more. We missed those this time, but they looked amazing! Definitely saving them for our next trip! 😉
