🏔 Half-day hike review from Namche Bazaar – The twin museums of the Himalayas
Route: Start from Namche Bazaar town → hike up to Sagarmatha National Park Museum → then to Sagarmatha Next Center → return to Namche
Duration: Half day (morning departure - return by noon or afternoon departure - return by evening)

1️⃣ Sagarmatha National Park Museum
📍 Altitude: about 3,500 m. A 15–20 minute hike up from Namche
Highlights:
• Exhibition on Sherpa lifestyle
• History of Everest summits + vintage climbing equipment
• Wildlife and Sagarmatha terrain zone
• Viewing deck with views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam on clear days
💡 Ideal as an acclimatization walk on your rest day in Namche

2️⃣ Sagarmatha Next Center
📍 Continue hiking from Namche towards Syangboche for about 20–30 minutes (located on the opposite side of the hill from the Museum)
Highlights:
• 🎧 VR Everest Experience – Simulate climbing Everest
• ☕ Scenic café – Sip hot coffee/tea with mountain views

🗺 How to plan a half-day trip
1. Start hiking in the morning from Namche → stop at Sagarmatha National Park Museum (spend 30–40 minutes)
2. Continue hiking or cross to the other side to Sagarmatha Next Center (spend 1–1.5 hours including coffee/VR experience)
3. Return to Namche to rest, arriving around noon or late afternoon
