I've lost count of how many times I've fallen for Baiyun Mountain! Each time I come, I discover breathtaking scenery I've never seen before. This time, a 2-day, 1-night trip with friends allowed me to spend a leisurely and relaxing weekend amidst the mountains and waters～

⛰️ Scenic Area Information
📍 Location: Luoyang Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area
🎫 Tickets: Full ticket 75 RMB, half ticket 37.5 RMB; shuttle transportation 70 RMB (includes bus and sightseeing car). For those driving, you must book online in advance. Self-driving tickets are purchased based on the number of passengers in the vehicle.
🚗 Transportation: Very convenient from Zhengzhou, less than 300 kilometers, about 3 hours by car. Don’t worry if you drive an electric car; there are charging stations at service areas along the way. Plan your charging time ahead and you’re good to go!

🏠 Accommodation Recommendations
We stayed at Baiyun Renjia this time, which is in a great location, very close to the central square, and the sightseeing bus can get you to the attractions in minutes. Nearby, there are also high-quality options like Yun Zhan Hotel and Baiyun International Hotel, with comfortable environments and hassle-free stays. If you don’t want to bother looking for a homestay, just book one of these with your eyes closed!

🌟 Super Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Encountering a Landscape Painting

Arrive at the scenic area ➡️ Jiulong Sky Bridge ➡️ Baiyun Lake ➡️ Forest Oxygen Bar ➡️ Yuhuang Lake

• First stop: Jiulong Sky Bridge (about 1 hour)
Arrive at the scenic area in the morning, drop off your luggage at the hotel, and travel light! Jiulong Sky Bridge is located in Jiulong Grand Canyon. Standing on the bridge, you can feel its grandeur and steepness. With blue skies and white clouds as the backdrop, every shot is a masterpiece, and the atmosphere is instantly elevated!

• Second stop: Baiyun Lake (about 0.5 hours)
In the afternoon, stroll around Baiyun Lake, shaded by green trees, as if stepping into a water town in Jiangnan. The lake is filled with lotus buds about to bloom. A gentle breeze ripples the water, creating a deeply soothing feeling～

• Third stop: Forest Oxygen Bar (about 1 - 2 hours)
A vast area of pine trees intertwined with lotus plants—this is a natural oxygen bar! Breathe deeply, play in the water, and enjoy the most pleasant summer moments here, relaxing both body and mind～

• Fourth stop: Yuhuang Lake (about 0.5 hours)
Follow the oxygen bar trail to the end and you’ll reach Yuhuang Lake. The scenery here is stunning. After visiting, return to the hotel for dinner and rest early to prepare for the night hike!

Day 2: Heading to the Sunrise Rendezvous

Yuhuang Peak ➡️ Baiyun Sky Road

• First stop: Yuhuang Peak (about 3 - 4 hours)
For those hiking at night to watch the sunrise, take note! It’s cold on the mountain at night, so bring warm clothes; also bring a small flashlight to light your way～
Get up at 3 AM to get ready, depart around 3:30 AM to Yuhuang Peak parking lot, take the cable car up at 4 AM, then hike for over an hour. You should arrive at the summit around 5:20 AM to catch the breathtaking sunrise! (Sunrise times vary daily, so check your weather app in advance.)
After watching the sunrise, return to the hotel for breakfast and a good rest～

• Second stop: Baiyun Sky Road (about 0.5 hours)
Wake up at noon, pack up, check out, and prepare to head back. Don’t miss the “Must-Drive in This Life - Baiyun Sky Road” when passing the mountain gate! The Big Recorder drink station, mountain gate, and signposts are all perfect photo spots to snap stunning shots that will blow up your social media～
