My first meal at Dewata was unexpectedly delightful. If you like traditional Indonesian cuisine in a modern setting, this is the place to go. The ambience is lovely.

I was most impressed with the Nasi Goreng Bebek Truffle, a duck confit truffle basmati fried rice. This is a must-try!

The Rawon Iga Daging Sapi uses US beef short rib cooked in traditional Javanese rawon soup. The beef was tantalising tender.

Dewata also has a wide range of hot to cold drinks that have been well thought out to complement the meals. I enjoyed the local desserts, which came in generous portions.
