Located in Chuncheon, LEGOLAND Korea Resort is a bit far from the city center, with a one-way trip taking about two hours. We opted for a package online that included shuttle bus and park tickets, departing at 8 AM and returning by 5:30 PM. This made the journey hassle-free, allowing us to sleep during the ride. Pickup points include Hongdae, Myeongdong, and Dongdaemun. The small group shuttle driver contacts you via WhatsApp the day before, making the trip seamless. We even stored our large luggage on the bus. Arriving in Korea on a late-night flight and having an early start, we planned this trip to catch up on sleep during the ride. Upon arrival, the park's LEGO-themed attractions were exciting.
Brick Street is the first area you encounter, featuring the largest souvenir shop in the park. Brick Kingdom is perfect for young children, with gentle rides, slides, and water play areas. The Monkey Climb, a favorite, involves manually pulling yourself up for a free-fall experience, which was thrilling enough to try three times. The observation tower offers a 360-degree view of the park and the surrounding river, providing a cool respite.
LEGO Castle features the most thrilling rides, including a roller coaster, though we couldn't ride due to height restrictions. Jo rode a pony ride here for the first time, which was a proud moment.
LEGO City is a must-visit, featuring various vehicles like fire trucks, trains, and boats. Jo enjoyed the LEGO boat ride, controlling the direction and speed, while the fire truck ride was a family favorite, requiring teamwork to extinguish a fire. Despite traffic delays reducing our playtime by an hour, we didn't manage to try all the attractions, making it a place worth revisiting.
