Everything You Want to Know About Chuncheon, South Korea

This article introduces today's itinerary: Legoland - Chuncheon Grilled Chicken - Potato Bread.

For tourists coming from abroad, it's better not to try Naver or KakaoT, as you might not understand the language or be able to register an account. A good combination that works is Google Maps (Google Play) + Uber (cash payment). The vehicles are all regular taxis and respond fairly promptly.

Legoland: If you're looking for thrilling rides, this park might not be suitable.

Compared to Disneyland, Legoland's attractions seem a bit childish, even a 6-year-old might shake their head. However, if you're interested in Lego bricks, the park's atmosphere and various building areas can keep you entertained for a long time.

🐔 Chuncheon Grilled Chicken: The city is full of places to eat grilled chicken. For convenience, I chose a spot near the Potato Bread and was pleasantly surprised by the taste. Specifically, it's the black and gray building two doors down from the Potato Bread store on the left (not the shabby-looking stall next door). Each table in the restaurant has a self-service ordering machine (with a Chinese language option). The menu isn't extensive, but the food is good and there are no unpleasant surprises, though the prices are a bit high. Two pieces of chicken cost about 18,000 won.

🍞 Potato Bread: Claimed to be unique in South Korea, I initially doubted how good carbs wrapped in carbs could be, but it was surprisingly delicious.The sweet potato filling isn't too greasy, just a bit too dense. Eating it after a meal with a cup of potato latte can be quite filling. I also met a Korean family who spoke English in the garden, and we had a great conversation. Finally, I encountered the beautiful sunset in Chuncheon, making it a perfect day!
