Nagano | Touring the film locations! Visit Lake Suwa, the model for "Your Name"...

I went to Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture to see the spectacular view that is said to be one of the scenes in the movie "Your Name."

I got off at Kami-Suwa Station and went to Tateishi Park, which overlooks Lake Suwa.

It was a 30-minute bus ride and a little less than 30 minutes on foot, so I decided to walk there... but I don't recommend it! lol

Anyway, it took about 30 minutes to climb a hill in a residential area.

When I arrived at Tateishi Park, the view opened up and I could see Lake Suwa.

The big lake spread out as far as the eye could see, and it was a truly spectacular view.

If the weather was good, I think I could relax there.

The old-fashioned townscape spreads around the nearby Kami-Suwa Station, and it's recommended for a stroll.

There are also many sake breweries, so it's a must-see for sake lovers!
