Nagano Prefecture's Kirigamine Plateau is famous for its gentle hiking trails.
The plateau is filled with alpine plants and offers beautiful scenery.
In addition to hiking, Koropokkuru Hütte in Kirigamine Plateau is also popular as a cafe with a spectacular view.
If you're tired from hiking, we recommend stopping here for coffee and bread.

A small mountain hut cafe in Kirigamine.
I had lunch here! ♪ It's very popular, and there was a line at lunchtime, but by 2 PM the line had gotten much shorter.

The food menu was already sold out, but I ordered a cheesecake and borscht set!

The coffee was served in a unique siphon coffee cup. ♪
You can choose your seating, and the terrace seats are popular, but since it was a windy day, I opted for an indoor seat. The interior was cute and had a Ghibli feel. 🎵
There was also a designated seat on the terrace, so I took a commemorative photo. 🫶
Next time, I'd like to dine on the terrace. 🫶
