Huangluo Temple｜The "Little Forbidden City" in Jiangnan is more picturesque than the Suzhou Gardens

Suzhou is home to many elegant gardens, but Huangluo Temple, located on the shore of Yangcheng Lake, is one of the few ancient temples in the Jiangnan region that adopts the northern architectural style. Compared with the simple and beautiful Jiangnan scenery, it has a more solemn and luxurious style, and is worthy of being called the "Little Forbidden City" in Jiangnan.

Few people know about such a beautiful place. There are not many people here during holidays. It is a very hidden niche 🆓 attraction.

🌟Visiting + photo taking tips:
✔️ The "red wall and yellow tile" building is exquisite and grand. Wear new Chinese clothes to take photos.
✔️ The area around the main hall of the Great Hall is the best for taking photos. Unfortunately, I didn't catch up with the magnolia blooming season. The photos of magnolia blooming in March that I saw before I came here are really beautiful.
✔️ "Huangluo Zen Temple Pagoda" is an iconic building that allows photography enthusiasts to give full play to their creativity. You can find many camera positions with great composition, but! Big backlight in the morning! If you want to take good photos of the Liuli Tower, it is recommended to go in the afternoon
✔️ The prayer wheel goes around the pagoda of the Huangluo Temple in a full circle. It is very photogenic to take pictures of the pagoda from between the two prayer wheels.
✔️ "Lotus Pond" On the way from the main hall to the Huangluo Zen Temple Tower, you will encounter a lotus pond. You can imagine that it will be very beautiful in summer.
✔️「Rapeseed flower fields」 In this season (photographed on April 5), there are rapeseed flower fields on both sides of the temple gate. The rapeseed flower fields on the east side are just enough to capture the Huangluo Zen Temple Tower.
