The reputation of Hanshan Temple is mostly inseparable from the artistic conception of Zhang Ji's "Night Parking on the Maple Bridge" ~ 🎑 What really attracts people is not how grand the temple is, but the poetry and distant bells that permeate every corner 🙏
Although the temple is not big, but the yellow walls and black tiles + ancient trees, the environment is super feel! Walking in immediately felt a quiet Zen, the atmosphere is really chill.
"The midnight bell rings to the passenger ship" has become an eternal jingle, although now there are more tourists, the commercial atmosphere is a little heavier, not much diluted some poetry. However, the inscriptions in the stele gallery and the cold picking palaces can still be found in the old traces of the eminent monks, imagining the guest sorrow in the poet's pen. The bell has to be struck at your own expense ~ but a loud ring, can instantly touch the mind, temporarily forget the worries of reality 😌
The real charm of Hanshan Temple is not that it flourishes, but that it has become a cultural symbol📚 that makes people have a moment of connection between reality and poetry. If you have the opportunity to go in the morning when there are few people, you will feel the poetry of "Jiang Maple Fishing Fire", super romantic 🥰
