Exotic cuisine 🇫🇷 Grandma Simon's French Hometown Kitchen / French cuisine

Grandma Simon's French Hometown Kitchen is located near the Taichung Museum of Fine Arts.
The high-ceilinged white building features a grocery and food display area on the first floor, along with an open kitchen and a limited number of seats. The second floor offers French country-style seating, and the third floor is currently closed.

This time, I went to Grandma Simon's specifically to try some of their French cuisine.
I ordered a special set menu for one person. It included an appetizer (sour cream smoked salmon with baguette and pickled cucumber and pork jelly with soda crackers), a seasonal salad, a classic French onion soup, a main course of braised ox tongue, and Grandma's homemade dessert. 🥖🥘🫔🧅🧄🫒🍋🫕🥂

The onion soup was my favorite, and my daughter surprisingly loved the appetizer, braised ox tongue, and dessert. 😄

The dining environment and atmosphere were lovely. Even though we're new to French cuisine, the owner was very helpful in recommending it. Highly recommended! 👍🏼
