Set out from Wuling to climb the East Peak of Snow Mountain! A one-day guide to summiting the 100 highest peaks

This one-day hike to the East Peak of Snow Mountain, from camping to reaching the summit, every step was super healing! We stayed at the Wuling Farm camping area the night before⛺️. As soon as the tent was set up, we looked up to see the sky full of stars✨. The temperature was cool and not stuffy, which was the perfect starting point before climbing the Hundred Peaks.

【Transportation】🚗
It is recommended to drive there! It takes about 4 hours to get there from Taipei. You can stay in the Wuling Farm camping area for a night. The camping facilities are simple but complete. It is also very close to the entrance of the snow mountain. You can get up early and go up the mountain leisurely without rushing.

【Highlights】🥾🌲🌫️
From the trailhead, you'll pass through fir forests, bamboo forests, and moss forests, and enter a dreamlike world of clouds and mist! The whole journey is about 10 kilometers round trip, with moderate intensity. Although you will be out of breath, it is really worth it. Arriving at the summit of Snow Mountain East (3,201 meters above sea level)📍 you can see the vast mountain scenery and super clear triangulation points, which is really a great sense of accomplishment!

After returning to the foot of the mountain, we immediately rushed to the Wuling Farm Visitor Center to buy a Snow Mountain Black Tea ice cream. It was really refreshing to have one after climbing the mountain! It’s so cool! 🌞❄️

【Mountain climbing reminder】⚠️
Prepare trekking poles, water, windproof jackets, and warm clothes. Nothing can be missing. The weather in the mountains is changeable, so it is most important to pay attention to safety and descend safely!
