Chimei Museum

Chimei Museum is an impressive museum located in Tainan. It was founded by Shi Wen-Long, a Taiwanese billionaire and owner of Chimei Corporation, who has a deep passion for art. He believes that art holds true value only when it is accessible for people to experience its beauty. The museum is grand and expansive, both in its outdoor and indoor spaces. It features five exhibition zones: 1) Weapons and Armor, 2) Taxidermy Animals, 3) Antique Musical Instruments, 4) Paintings and Sculptures, and 5) Rotating Art Exhibitions. With such a vast collection, it’s likely that one day isn’t enough to explore everything in detail. Art enthusiasts will surely love this place. Personally, I found it incredibly fulfilling and consider it one of the best art museums I’ve ever visited. The admission fee is absolutely worth it, and I highly recommend visiting if you’re in Tainan. It’s truly magnificent and leaves a lasting impression.
