Tainan's Grand Tianhou Temple is a sacred site for Mazu worship. With its red walls and golden tiles, soaring eaves and pointed corners, the temple stands majestically in the heart of Tainan. Incense curls in the air, permeating the devout hearts of the faithful. Entering the main hall, the majestic Mazu statue sits quietly, its gaze benevolent, as if protecting this land and the peace of its people.
In the temple courtyard, believers hold fragrant incense in their hands, walk slowly, and whisper prayers, expressing their most sincere wishes for life. This temple carries not only faith but also the culture and emotions passed down through generations in Tainan. As I left, the sound of bells and drums lingered in my ears, reminding me that faith is a bridge connecting the past and the future.
