Ramen Ultra 🍜 Chicken soup from Hokkaido is refreshing and delicious😋

Today, by chance, I found myself shopping at Global Mall and City Link in Nangang, looking for the Rilakkuma store 🤣🤣🤣 and looking for a good dinner. If you're taking the MRT, get off at Nangang Station, Exit 1A. The two malls are connected, and you'll see Global Mall first. There were street performers singing "Ting Hai" (Listen to the Sea), and the male one was quite nice. 👍

Today, July 2nd, is the second day of the T-Pass issuance. Traffic in Keelung, Taipei, and Taipei is smooth sailing, making travel to Taoyuan and Keelung even more convenient. I'm sure this will boost tourism!

I did some searching. I had hot pot for lunch and wanted to change things up for dinner. I came across Ramen Ultra, a Hokkaido ramen shop. While most ramen restaurants serve tonkotsu broth, this one specializes in chicken broth/chicken white broth. It's quite unique, so I decided to give it a try! You can choose the saltiness and firmness of the noodles. I don't like things too salty, so I opted for a lighter, softer version. My order arrived within 3 minutes of ordering! The broth was surprisingly delicious, and the noodles were thin and soft. First impressions were great! The chicken broth was lighter and more flavorful than the pork bone broth, not too greasy but still full of chicken flavor. Perfect for hot summer days! If the regular price included a soft-boiled egg, it would be even better! 😆

Both the salt ramen and the soy sauce ramen were NT$230. It was my first time signing up for a Global Mall membership, and I was surprised to get a NT$30 discount after my meal. 🎉🎉
