Ho hey Hot Pot Hou Hei Guo Wu🍲The pickled cabbage hot pot is delicious and mouthwatering😋

As a hot pot lover, I visited Hou Hei Guo Wu today for a treat. 😋 Hou Hei Guo Wu is a sub-brand of Dongbei Zhijia's pickled cabbage and white pork hot pot. Their pickled cabbage is the first of its kind in Taiwan to feature a unique lactic acid bacteria broth base. Made with no added soup powder, it's naturally fermented for health reasons. The broth is then carefully simmered, and the tart flavor paired with the premium meat is truly delicious!❗️

"Hou Hei" is named after the Chinese character "Ho," which means "to cheer up." "Hey!" Besides providing heartwarming comfort, it also offers a heartfelt gesture of encouragement for each other and ourselves. 💕💕💕

This time, we ordered a pot of small surf and turf, pork, and beef for NT$328 each. The generous portion included five clams, four shrimp, three succulent fish fillets, and, of course, our beef and pork. 😋 The restaurant waived the 10% service charge and even served us handmade scallion pancakes (for a quick bite) and cold winter vermicelli salad (a bit sour, but very special). These delicious dishes can be eaten with the scallion pancakes. This is truly a rare and wonderful restaurant with exceptional service. The staff are patient and friendly. By 7 PM, the restaurant was already 80% full. The hot pot is delicious just with the pickled cabbage and lactic acid bacteria soup base. There are also Houhei Qingma +50 and pineapple bitter melon +50 soup bases to choose from. The recommended soup bases and dishes are clearly marked on the menu. The ingredients are good and substantial. I like their handmade scallion pancakes (the best🏆), which are super delicious and go great with the honey green tea drink, which is refreshing and tasty. The seafood is fresh and delicious. We ate it all👍We also ordered green pepper stinky tofu for NT$59. It is sour and spicy with a little bit of chili flavor. My husband praised it highly👍Restaurant information✨️ Zhongshan Siping Branch (Closed on Wednesdays)📍Address: No. 19, Siping Street, Zhongshan District, Taipei City (near Exit 1 of Songjiang Nanjing MRT Station)📞Tel: (02) 2567-7889 【Business hours】Monday to Sunday📞11:30-15:00 (Last booking 2:00 PM), 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM (Last booking 8:30 PM)
