Memories of the Blue Sky and White Sun

Staying at the elegant and grand Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel, its red brick exterior and sophisticated lobby exude both style and grandeur. The attentive service makes the journey even more comfortable. The next morning, I strolled to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, a site symbolizing the nation's history.
The national emblem of the Blue Sky and White Sun hangs prominently in the main hall. Inside, a solemn bronze statue sits at the center, as if time has paused here. Exhibits on both sides detail the history of the Republic of China, including calligraphy displays and handwriting from past presidents, inviting reflection on contemporary values amidst the currents of history. In the afternoon, sunlight streams through the windows, quietly illuminating a past that must not be forgotten. Returning to the Sheraton, I brewed a cup of tea and flipped through the memorial hall's booklet. History is never far away; it resides in every tranquil moment of today.
