Taipei Luxury Infinity Pool Hotel Recommendation: Hangu Hotel

Taipei is a world-renowned travel destination, attracting thousands of tourists daily for sightseeing and vacations. Among its many luxury hotels, one standout is the Hangu Hotel, known for its infinity pool.

The pool is a popular spot for social media influencers, who often visit to take bikini photos. Many guests choose to stay at the hotel specifically for the pool. On the second floor, you'll find BeGood, a Michelin-starred restaurant. Breakfast requires advance booking at the front desk and is served in two time slots daily. After trying the breakfast for several days, it felt rather average and not very cost-effective. The options are limited to a choice of one out of three Western-style set meals, along with some Chinese-style congee and side dishes. The selection is quite restricted, and there's only a one-hour time limit for breakfast, making the experience feel rushed. It's worth visiting once for the photo opportunities.

The hotel lobby is relatively small, and during peak hours, it can feel quite crowded. Although I booked a king-size bed room, the room itself was rather small, and fitting three suitcases inside made it feel cramped. The hotel provides some complimentary snacks in the room, and after multiple stays, the staff even prepared additional free beverages in advance for me. However, the hotel does not provide bottled water; guests need to go to a water station on each floor to refill their water, which is quite a unique feature. The bathroom and toilet are separate, with the bathroom featuring a bathtub and a dry-wet separated shower area. Soaking in the tub after returning to the room each day was an excellent experience.
