📍No. 1, Section 1, Bade Road, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, Huashan 1914 Cultural and Creative Park, East Hall 2, Building 4
Huashan 1914's East Hall 2, Building 4, has been transformed into Doraemon's Blue Universe. You absolutely must go! You'll regret it if you don't.
The moment I walked in and saw the giant inflatable Doraemon, tears welled up in my eyes. 🥲
I don't know why, maybe it's because I've been watching him since I was a kid, but the moment he stood there, I felt like a kid again, instantly protected.
Then I walked into the first area, and OMG! There were 100 different versions of Doraemon! There were people playing video games, playing guitar, and even those with silly faces that were so adorable, my phone was practically blowing up with photos 🤳✨
I literally kept saying, "Wow! This one's so cute!" everywhere I walked (my friends laughed at me).
There was also a small theater area that played a short animated film specially made for the exhibition. I was standing there watching it, and suddenly, the music and dialogue started, and tears immediately flowed (I'm not exaggerating).
I wasn't prepared to be so moved! I wasn't just here to take cute photos, why would I cry? 😭
And the manga scenes were so authentic! I rushed into Nobita's room and sat at his desk, pretending to think about life (but actually taking a selfie). And the manga wall was such a memorable place! It felt like I was walking in a manga!
The last area was Fujiko F. Fujio's creative space, with his desk and sketches of Doraemon. I stood there for a long time. It's like... you'll suddenly understand why Doraemon is so warm and pure, because the artist truly put so much love into this character when he drew it 🥹
