A must-see religious attraction in northern Taiwan: Longshan Temple

Taipei's Lungshan Temple is an unmissable historical site and spiritual center. Built during the Qing Dynasty, it boasts over 200 years of history and is one of Taiwan's best-preserved traditional temples. Dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva, the temple blends Buddhism, Taoism, and folk beliefs, attracting a large number of worshippers, earning it the nickname "the epitome of Taiwanese faith."

As I entered the temple, I was immediately captivated by the ornate paper-cuts and stone carvings. The dragons and phoenixes on the eaves and the wood carvings throughout the temple are all breathtakingly detailed. Whether devout worshippers or tourists quietly admiring the architectural beauty, one can sense the unique solemnity and human touch of this ancient temple.

A visit at night is highly recommended. Illuminated by lights, Lungshan Temple becomes even more majestic and mysterious, offering a tranquil and soothing experience.

Check-in Location: Longshan Temple in Monga (No. 211, Guangzhou Street, Wanhua District, Taipei City)
